We have been doing lots of planting in Foundation Stage this half term.

We have been doing lots of planting in Foundation Stage this half term, we have planted peas, lettuce and radishes in our outdoor area and each child in FS2 has planted a bean or sunflower to take part in our growing challenge.

We had a very exciting Science week, doing experiments with volcanoes, raisins in lemonade, flowers changing colour and floating and sinking. We have some budding Scientists in our Foundation Stage, it was wonderful to see them setting up their own experiments and challenges and recording their observations in their Science booklets.

As part of our enrichment programme, FS2 had a 'Bushbabies' adventure in our forest school and made potions and rockets. The children toasted their own marshmallows and had hot chocolate and popcorn around the campfire. What a special experience! FS1 have a Bushbabies session to look forward to after half term.
