One of our pupils took part in a Triathlon.

In the summer holidays I did a triathlon at Castle Howard.

In the summer holidays I did a triathlon at Castle Howard. To complete this challenge I had to swim 100m in the great lake, 4km on my bike around the castle grounds and finally I ran 1300m to the castle entrance were I crossed the finish line. I did the triathlon for more than just pride, as my dad says, because I raised money for cancer. My grandma is currently suffering from brain cancer and she is in and out of hospital.  I lost my nana last December (December 1st 2014) but I don’t think that was because of cancer. I raised over £500 before I was in the cancer leaflet in the local link and since then I’ve raised over £600 just by doing this triathlon and raising money. If you like doing sports and winning medals I would definitely recommend doing a triathlon!!! I recommend doing a triathlon for these reasons because I like sports and winning medals and I really enjoyed it!!!

I had to put my bike on a rack like this.
